Happy 5th birthday Caleb!

Where did the time go?  It feels like just yesterday I was cuddled up on the couch with my little peanut.  Now he is a 5 year old boy who is going to kindergarten next week!  Right now he is in to all things Star Wars.  I didn't even have to ask what theme he wanted for his party.  It was really fun to come up with games and activities.  I have to admit, everything came from Pinterest!

 Happy 10th Anniversary!

We had an amazing 3 day vacation to the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva.  The boys got to spend some quality time with Grandpa Lew and Grandma Sheryl at Betty's Lake house.  Baby girl spent some time with the Root family getting lots of love and attention.  That made for some much needed rest and relaxation for us!

We had so much fun together.  It was like one long date!  We worked out, slept a lot, ate a lot, sat by the pool, and discovered many fun places in Lake Geneva.  We decided this may have to become a yearly tradition.

As we look back on our 10 years of marriage we feel very blessed.  The Lord has seen us through trials and brought us closer through them.  We have been blessed with 3 healthy boys and Lord willing, we will be adding a little princess to our family in the future.  We are well taken care of and I can't wait to see where the next 10 year brings us!

July 4th!

We had beautiful weather for the 4th of July festivities.  We started out our day at the Brookfield parade with friends.  This year we brought ear plugs and the boys enjoyed the parade a lot more.  There is something about the loud drums and sirens that they just don't seem to care for.

Of course our Joshie bear wasn't phased by the noise at all.  He was all about being front and center so he could get the candy that was tossed into the crowd!

 After the parade we spent a couple of hours at home swimming and enjoying the sunshine.

 After naps it was off to Pewaukee beach for the fireworks.  The kids enjoyed playing in the water and sand as we awaited dusk.  We had such a fun time with our friends.  Memories that will last a lifetime!
