Matt and I said our wedding vows in front of God, family and friends on August 1, 2003.
Each year we take time to do something special to celebrate our marriage. This year we went camping at Governor Dodge State Park. We left the boys at home with Matt's parents and enjoyed some much needed quality time together.
It is such a different experience going camping without children! We had the time to make fun meals, read books, go on long hikes, float on the lake and sleep in. The weather was good for the most part. When it did rain it didn't matter much to us. We used the time to read and take a nap!
One thing we did a lot of on this camping trip was geocaching. Geocaching is a free real-world outdoor treasure hunt. Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using a smartphone or GPS and can then share their experience online. We were able to find 9 caches on our trip.

| Our first geocache of the weekend and we couldn't find it! |
| Matt found one under his feet between two large rocks ! |
| Here he is checking out the goods. |
| Our GPS that tells us where to go to find the caches |
| One of our favorite caches of the weekend was found in this little cave. |
| It was a team effort, but we found it! |
| For this cache we had to find a name scratched on to a rock. What a beautiful site! |
Cute couple!

Besides hiking all over the park to find geocaches we did take some time to relax and do other fun things as well.
| Here we are trying to start up our fire after the rain. When I say we I mean Matt. |
| YUM! |
| Evening fishing after the rain. |
| I caught a monster of a fish! |
| So calm and beautiful on the water. |
| It was a great weekend filled with adventure and fun...just like our marriage! |
