Little Amerricka

We finally made it to Little Amerricka Amusement Park for an afternoon of family fun! We went with grandma Karen and the Reed family. We had fun riding little kiddie rides, bumper boats, roller coasters and of course...the train.  We can't wait to visit again!

The helicopter ride was awesome, we all rode on these. 

The 2nd time we rode the train the kids got to experience the passenger cars.

Dirty Girl Mud Run 2012

This past fall a bunch of girls decided that it would be fun to try and keep up with our crazy husbands by signing up for an adventurous event like the Dirty Girl mud run.  Since signing up in fall,  about half of the ladies had to drop out due to pregnancies (likely excuse!)  After selling some slots and inviting new friends we ended up with a team of 11 women!

We had a few spectators who came to cheer us on.  Among them were my favorite men!

The race was a 5K that included a ton of obstacles.  Most of the obstacles involved crawling through mud.  We jumped through tires, climbed over things, crawled under and through things and in between we jogged!

This was near the end of the race.

Friday night at Banting Park

It was date night for the Reeds last night.  While they enjoyed dinner and Friday night live downtown Waukesha, we had fun at the park across the street!  The kids get just as excited as we do about date nights...it is funny to hear them say, "YES, date night!"

Milwaukee Airshow 2012!

Our annual adventure at the Milwaukee airshow was a blast as usual!  This year we were blessed to have the company of several friends.  The kids enjoyed the sand, water and planes!  The adults had a great time as well!  One of our families favorite summer activities by far, and its free!
