Happy 30th Birthday Matt!

Yesterday was Matt's 30th birthday! Casey and I spent the morning decorating the kitchen and baking green cupcakes for daddy. If it were up to Casey he would have handled things "by himself". He really did a great job adding the ingredients and mixing the batter. His favorite part was shaking the sprinkles on at the end.

At night we left the boys at Amy and Eric's house so that we could enjoy a romantic dinner for two at PFChang's (or so Matt thought). He was pleasantly surprised when our table for two became a table for 12 of his closest friends and family! It was such a nice blessing to share Matt's special day with the people we love. Matt felt very loved (not to mention old). Thanks to those of you who came as well as the mommy's who stayed home with their kids so that their husbands could come.

Matt and I agreed that we are both excited to see what the Lord has in store for our 30's. This weekend we are going to a bed and breakfast to spend some quality time with one another. While we are there we are going to make a list of 30 things we want to do with one another in our 30's. Don't be surprised if you see this on our blog in the future.
