Fun weekend!

We started our weekend on Thursday night with a family get together. My uncle Scott was in town for a visit and so we had the family over for pizza. The kids had a great time together as usual. Hailey and Riley were upset that they were not able to eat with Casey and Hannah at the big kid table so they enjoyed leftovers afterwards. They are going to be two in June and I think they are acting like two year olds already! They are just too cute!

After we ate dinner we took the kids over to the park to run around. Casey and Hannah had their first encounter with the police....it was a good one though. They received junior sheriff badges and got to see the sirens and lights up close and personal. They both enjoyed the action.

Casey finally had someone his own size to play on the swing set with. Usually he has me sit on the other end, but I am getting a little too big for that these days! We had a great time together.

Friday Casey and I went to the Zoo with a few friends. My friend Amy and her son Isaac as well at Gretchen and her daughter Lilly. We rode on the train for the first time this year and Casey loved it!
On Friday night and Saturday morning Casey and Matt enjoyed some quality time together. They had all kinds of adventures together. Friday they went to McDonald's and the pet store and Saturday Matt took Casey to the Zoo for another fun filled day!

Saturday night our Sunday school class had a barbecue at Matt and Gretchen's house. What a fun time we all had. The kids enjoyed running around the yard while some of the men played a game of basketball. It was a great time of fellowship and fun for all. Did I mention how great the food was? It was a pregnant womans dream come true!

On Sunday we were able to have Matthew over for the afternoon. Casey really enjoyed listening to Matthew's stories in the wagon as we headed to the park. The boys are about 2 1/2 years apart so it gave us an idea of what it would be like to have two high energy boys...ahhhh! Matt played star wars in the backyard with Matthew for about an hour while Casey was sleeping. I think it is safe to say that both big and little Matt will sleep well this evening!
